JEE Advanced 2023 Exam – Dates, Registration & Eligibility Criteria

The JEE itself is one of the most competitive qualifying exams, and the JEE Advanced is perhaps the toughest. Many students aim for the JEE Advanced to covet a seat in one of the prestigious IITs. If you’re one of these, then you must know that the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has declared the JEE Advanced 2023 dates. The date

The prestigious and one of the most competitive exams, the JEE Advanced, will be conducted on 4th June 2023. The dates have been published on jeeadv.ac.in website, and you will find all the related details there.

The registration

The registration for the same for Indian candidates will start from 30th April 2023 till 4th May 2023. The deadline to pay the fees for those who have registered is 5th May 2023.

The registration process and deadline for international candidates have also been announced. These candidates can register online starting from 24th April 2023 till 4th May 2023. The deadline to pay the registration fees is 5th May 2023 for them.

Candidates are expected to pay the fees by 5.00 p.m. on 5th May 2023.

The papers

The exam consists of two papers that are of three-hour duration each – Paper 1 and Paper 2. It is compulsory to appear for both papers.

The timing

The timing for Paper 1 is 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and for Paper 2 is 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Do note that the examination will not alter even if the day is declared as a public holiday.

The criteria

Now that you know the JEE Advanced dates 2023, you must also know the eligibility and criteria. Do remember that you can take the JEE Advanced only twice in two consecutive years. The eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be born between 1st October 1998 and 1st October 1999. Candidates who fall in the SC, ST and PwD categories have a relaxation of five years in the age criteria. They have to be born on or after 1st October 1993.

The qualification

Candidates appearing must have cleared their Class 12 exams in 2022/2023, and this has to be their first time.
