The rapid spread of the coronavirus forced the Government of India to reschedule all examinations in March 2020. The JEE Main examination, which was scheduled to take place from 5^th to 11^th April, was also cancelled. On the 5^th of May, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (HRD) declared new dates for the JEE and NEET examinations.
