The rapid spread of the coronavirus forced the Government of India to reschedule all examinations in March 2020. The JEE Main examination, which was scheduled to take place from 5th to 11th April, was also cancelled. On the 5th of May, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (HRD) declared new dates for the JEE and NEET examinations.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the upcoming JEE Main exam. It was scheduled to take place on April 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th of this year. Instead, the Agency has decided to release the fresh schedule on 31st March 2020. They will also be releasing the JEE Main admit card on the same date.
