JEE Mains 2024 Exam Dates
Engineering aspirants vie with each other to score a high rank at the JEE Mains and secure a seat at one of the leading engineering institutes. Many aim to garner a seat at one of the IITs, which is much more competitive than ever. Each year, lakhs of students appear for this qualifying exam, which keeps increasing every year. This has further made the exam tough and competition cut-throat. Thus, students start preparing for it as early as Class 11.
This year too, the competition is stiff as about 11 lakh candidates appeared for the exam last year, and this number is set to rise this year as well. The NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 dates, and all candidates must make a note of this.
Along with the exam dates, it is imperative to make note of the JEE Main 2024 registration date as well.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) or Paper 2A (B.Arch) or Paper 2B (B.Planning) is 3 hours, and B.Arch and B. Planning (both) are 3 hours 30 minutes.
JEE Mains 2024 Exam Timings
Since 2021, the JEE Mains exams have been administered by the NTA. This is true for the 2024 JEE Mains exams, too. The exam is conducted in two shifts each day: Shift 1 and Shift 2. The typical JEE Mains shift 1 time is from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M., while shift 2 is from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. Candidates must refer to the following table to verify the JEE Mains timings for 2024.
