The second module discusses partnership and business accounts. So, candidates learn how to prepare final accounts for sole proprietors. They also become familiar with company accounts and financial statements for not-for-profit organisations.

Q: What does Paper 2 – Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting cover?

A: This paper covers everything students need to know about business law, correspondence and reports. Students also learn about the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Indian Partnership Act, 1932.

Q: What does Paper 3 – Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics cover?

Business MathematicsA: Paper 3 has three separate sections. The first one deals only with business mathematics. So, candidates have to learn about equations, linear inequalities, ratios and proportions, concepts of permutations and combinations, indices and logarithms. They will also have to learn the basic concepts of differential and integral calculus. The second section is about logical reasoning and deals with number series and coding. The third and final section deals with statistics. Therefore, students learn about probability, measures of central tendency and dispersion and correlation and regression.

Q: What does Paper 4 – Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge cover?

A: The first part of this paper deals with economic concepts like demand and supply, the price mechanism and business cycles. The second part deals more with business organisations and environments. It also introduces candidates to common business terminologies.
