The SAT also known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test is a standard test which has been curated for checking the level a student is prepared when sitting for the SAT exam. TG Campus® SAT Crash Course has been designed for the students preparing for SAT, which helps them prepare at their own pace.
The SAT exam is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities in the United States based on which they can make decisions related with admissions decisions. The SAT Exam paper has multiple-choice questions and questions which need student response and is administered by the College Board.
The SAT exam tests skills like Reading Comprehension, ability to Compute, along with analysing student’s clarity of thought and expression. The results are presented to schools and universities which help them with the requisite data for the assessment of students' results with other students who have given the SAT examination on an international level.
The SAT Exam broadly has two sections, namely:
- Evidence-Based Reading and Writing
The SAT also has an optional Essay section. The Essay scores of SAT are taken separately from the overall test scores.
The Essay is needed for some colleges which need the SAT Essay score as well and for that the student can check with the admission policy of the respective college.
SAT Exam is of 3 hours and the computer-based test has separate time durations defined for each section. Though if the student opts for the SAT with Essay, the total duration becomes 3 hours and 50 minutes.
The SAT Maths and Evidence Based Reading and Writing Sections are scored on a scale of 200 to 800. The total score is thus the sum of each section score.
The TG SAT Crash course has been designed keeping in view the fast track preparation of the students for the SAT Exam. This course gives the student an indepth preparation of all the relevant concepts from the basic level to the advance level as needed for scoring 1600/1600.
